Baishuiyang Water Square
Located in Pingnan and also known
as Xianpa Stream, Baishuiyang Water Square is one of the Four Great Wonders of
Mandarin Duck Stream. Its Ten Thousand People's Square on Water is reputed as
"Scenic Masterpiece under the Sun, Riddle of the Universe". The Square
consists of three huge flat rocks laying under the water, the biggest one of
which covers an area of 4 hectares with the largest width of 150 meters. There
is an even distribution of water on the riverbed running over the stone plates.
When walking on it, your ankles sink in water. The glistening and billowing
waves of the stream are very white in the sun, so it has got the name of
"Baishuiyang Water Square". Baishuiyang Water Square is smooth and
spacious, where you can ride bikes or drive cars. There is a slide way of
nearly 100 meters long on water. Your skin will not be injured even if you
slide down. And it goes by the name of "Natural Surfing Pool".

wonders of Mandarin Duck Stream. The peak is just like a Buddha colossus lying
on a high position with palms folded in front of his face, above which on side,
there is a dust rock exactly like Kwan-yin sitting with the legs crossed on
lotus seat. The two scenes are called Buddha Lying on a High Position and
Kwan-yin Moving Lotus respectively.

Feasting on Grains at Ding
(Cauldrons) Pond
It is one of the four great
wonders of Mandarin Duck Stream, and it is reputed as "an entirely
stereoscopic view", "only in China and rare in the world". The
four ponds in the valley look like huge cauldrons connecting with each other,
among which there are interlinking "air flues", so it is commonly
called "a string of beads in Ding pond". With the green water
bubbling and rolling like a boiling pot, and with dense water fog and loud
noise, the pond is a most favorite playground for mandarin ducks.
